Facebook is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our new Seattle Engineering office. We take Facebook's mission of discovering top talent and serving our employees seriously, and as the first HR hire into our new Seattle office we trust you will champion and create our developing team. As the web changes from an encyclopedia of information to a social experience we need visionary engineers more than ever, and we trust your top notch technical recruiting skills will help us create the future.
Responsibilities
- As the first HR hire into the Seattle office you will champion all Seattle recruiting efforts, this includes recruiting but also the institution of new processes and procedures
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to understand their hiring needs and goals
- Source, screen and interview qualified candidates
- Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers
- Maintain data reports and performance metrics on a regular basis
- Drive offer process - including extending offers, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
- Act as an internally and externally-facing representative of Facebook and our talent acquisition team
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Passionate about Facebook product and able to speak to our technology/industry
- Preference for 6 + years experience recruiting for all levels of an organization, from entry-level to executive positions
- Recruiting experience across multiple departments and with a multi-national company
- Experience recruiting for an Engineering organization
- Patient, communicative, team player that is detail oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skills
- Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Willingness to travel as needed
