Job Description :
• Experience in Performance Management and RF Optimization (Pref CDMA / EVDO)
• Fundamental understanding of CDMA/EVDO (BTS, BSC) Pref: Samsung/ Nortel/ Lucent/ Motorola
• Basic understanding of CDMA/EVDO optimization parameters (neighbour list / handover)
• Basic understanding of both idle and active mode call processing
• Able to make parameter changes to network on appropriate vendor platform
• Basic understanding of PN planning and reuse
• Experience using MS Excel, Actix
• Automation of optimization tasks
Accountabilities (major/routine/minor) :
• Access reports and databases to gather data on network statistics (routine)
• Assist experienced engineers in the development of optimization and capacity plans (routine)
Personnel Skills :
• Programming and scripting
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix management environment
• Demonstrated ability to assist in the development of network solution presentations
